The very cute puppy I saw last night and have a photo of down the line here on my blog, won for the prettiest dog. Here is the puppy greeting a little chihuahua that ran up to it. Smile. Glad I got that photo last night. Everyone cheered for the puppy as it really was so cute!

Great Band in Fort Bragg Tonight - The Dixie Devils

People were having fun listening to the Dixie Devils tonight and doing some dancing in the streets, too. They played some New Orleans type Jazz and even some swing tunes. The swing dancers were doing some cool dancing, too. Fun night in Fort Bragg tonight and most events were free, too. Can't beat the price. Smile.

La Cage aux Folles at Eagles Hall in Fort Bragg

Just wanted to say that the Gloriana Opera put on a great show and I was happy to see this one. The singing and acting was fantastic. Lots of fun and lots of sentimental moments as well. Great costumes and great performances. This musical is highly recommended that you see if you are in Fort Bragg. One thing that was interesting was since I have lived in this small town for years now, it was neat to see one of my sons middle school friends' younger brother having a role in the play and he did great! So neat to see the younger generation doing well. Here is a link to the Gloriana Opera website to read more:

4th of July Holiday

Last night I went to the First Friday events in downtown Fort Bragg. There were street belly dancers and a great band playing, too. The art galleries and photo galleries were great to visit. It was nice some of the stores were open too. I went to V'Cantos Italian Restaurant with friends and there were friendly waitresses and the food was good, too, which makes it nice. Smile.

There are many events in Mendocino today. And around Fort Bragg we have plenty of yard sales to visit. The Fort Bragg Advocate News has lots of the events listed in their weekly paper, too.

Since this is such a small town and not too much traffic or people, it is interesting with more traffic on the road and more people around that are visiting from out of town. Fort Bragg has great weather this weekend, too. I love this time of the year! And we may be able to see fireworks too as it doesn't look foggy, Yay!

BBQTofu

This tofu was easy to make. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Put some bbq sauce down on it. Place 1/4 inch sliced tofu on top of the bbq sauce, put some bbq sauce on top of the tofu and bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes. Done. It tastes good and is good for you. I used organic bbq sauce, but use your favorite brand to make it taste even better. And keep an eye on it as often temperatures vary. You can clean up easy by just throwing away the burned on bbq sauce foil. Easy. Smile.
